Youtube video comment deleted, reply deleted too?

I dont think because its like an instant messager. If you say something and another person replys to what you have to say, those are both individual comments but like a chat. If you delete yours or if someone deletes it then the reply is not deleted because they are seperate. Liek this: two pieces of paper that say hi on one and whats up? on the other. If a person rips up and throws away the hi, the whats up? is on a seperate sheet of paper which makes it so that it doesn't get deleted. If the comment gets deleted by the youtube user of by you. the only other way to remove the reply is the same way that you would get off of the comment list, either the youtube user deletes it or the replyer does it him or her self. It is a problem on YouTube's part. The comment should end up under the comment you replied to after a delay. How long this delay is, is anyones guess. However, in most cases when I log in the next day, it has moved. Just make sure you click reply on the users comment you wish to reply to and type the comment in the box that appears - and not type your reply in the box at the bottom of the comments area.

the only reason why a comment gets deleted is when the author does like it or it offends them
