How to attaching a ring to a flower?

I'm planning to propose to g/f soon (tonight probably) and wanted to attach the ring to a flower. Any idea how best to attach it without risking it falling off? We may be somewhere that if the ring falls, we may never see it again. :-)

Use ribbon. The florist should have a nice narrow ribbon to use for the purpose. Tie a ribbon around the flower stem, and tie the ring in the bow. ... If you take the ring in with you when you buy the flower, I bet they'll tie the ring to it for you so the bow looks nice. Tell them you want it to be secured to the flower well, but be easy to untie when the time comes for it to go on your g/f (new fiancees) finger.

Good luck and blessings for a long and happy life with your chosen one.

yea you could use a couple of them wire ties that are used for plastic bags.... just bring a small pair of snips to get the tie off the flower....... cause your hands maybe shaking to much to un tie it....
