Macbook wireless connection flashing on and off all the time?

Since a while back the airport sign in the top right corner of the screen keeps flashing on and off a lot of the time. I'm not very far from the router either. What could be the problem?

    Could be a number of things. Start out by dowloading the most recent OSX patches from the Apple website. If that doesn't work, ask the question in the appropriate Apple forum at the Apple website.

    did you try this

    Reset the TC and try again. You may need to set it up using ethernet including your wireless set up then disconnect the ethernet. That flashing yellow if you can next time open airport utility and double click on that yellow button to read what it tells you is wrong.
