about the catholic church?

Isn't it time the Catholic Church was banned?

Update:

Of course it is impossible to ban religion and not a good idea - I guess I'm thinking about Catholic Schools which seem to be a haven for questionable practices.

One wonders about the sanity of parents that expose their children to these schools (ignorance I suspect).

My father a Roman Catholic had some dodgy experiences in a Convent School and then sent me to a Convent .

Update 2:

And yes I was brought up as a Roman Catholic, and yes I am ashamed of Roman Catholicism, and the practishioners.

Do you really want to encourage them that much?

LOL Good luck trying. We, the Catholic Church, have persevered through many such trials, still we remain. Look to China where the true Catholic Church is flourishing underground.

No, that would be an infringement upon freedom of religion.

If anyone thinks all religion should be banned, then no one's stopping you from going and living in an atheist state. If you're against what the Constitution teaches, then you can leave.

Do you mean the Roman Catholic church? The ones with the Pope at the head?

Or the Catholic Church, as in Christians as a whole?

Cos you really should clarify this

And No, people should be free to practise whatever religion they want.

That's been tried before, and it failed miserably.

The earliest Christians (from whom Catholics trace their faith) WERE banned from practicing and many of them risked their lives to worship as they saw fit.

No , I do not think that and I am very sure it would take a awful lot to penetrate Vatican City.Live and let live, they are not hurting any one.

No... uh, as much as I disagree with them on most subjects and issues, I don't believe we should BAN them. That's O.D-ing. Religious tolerance, dude. TOLERANCE.
