why hollywood movies release so late in india.?
i always have to wait 4 HW movies to see them on multiplex (bid screen) as they release too late and i also have a hobby of dvd collection of hit and most awaited hollywood movies , but i have a question in ma mind that why they release movies in india so late. pirated dvd of these movies come here weeks before the official release. CUX of this they make loss of thousands of dollar. T4 released yesterday , i really liked the movie though the screen play was poor and was weak when compared previous parts. x-men too released in india on 19th of june anyway i would like to know why producers doesn't want make profit in india???

its just priorities i guess. the studios know they aren't going to make as much money overseas as they do domestically.
look at it the other way, bollywood movies are hardly ever released in major theaters here. only a few places in a handful of cities across the country will show a new indian movie.

Both The Fountain and Bobby were released after Casino Royale was released. I highly recommend seeing Bobby. It was a well made movie, and certainly impressed me. The Fountain was visually stunning, but be prepared to see it another time because it was a little confusing.
