because Michael Jackson paved the way for Black entertainers to have their music played on MTV.....he was the very first "African American to have a vedio played.......also I believed he raised over 40 million dollars for Africa..with his song "we are the world".....most of today's entertainers have in some way been influence by him..his music and his moves...man do you have it all wrong...

He had a conditon called vitiligo. Its where where black people loose the pigmentation in their skin.
He also inspired a new generation of artists.
People like Mariah Carey and Chris Brown, and Justin Timberlake have said that MJ was their main inspiration.
