Why do I cry when I'm angry?

Whenever someone insults or hits me, I get angry. I give a nastier comeback but I suddenly start to tear. Why do I do that? Why do I cry a bit? I'm angry and pissed, not sad.

It is very common for people to cry when frustrated or angry. Anger is actually a reaction to being hurt. We do not get angry if it is not over something important enough to hurt us.

There are different reasons for crying, not just because you're sad, some people cry for happiness and joy, also you can cry because of depression, and how about when your watching a touching moment in a movie? or even in real life? Most probably the reason that you cry after an argument is because you know there are other ways to deal with it, but you just have to do it your way, and in your mind, I think, you are expecting the other person to see it you way. I guess you must be like the fire, once it's lit, it takes a while to put it out, no? And the time that it takes for you to cool off, is the time that your mind start to wonder and recreate the problem, and then the tears. There is an exercise that you can practice with a dummy, when you get angry, but real angry, hit and punch the dummy until you are exhausted, I'm sure that you'll want to try this on the person that is bugging you, but a dummy will do. One more thing, never hold anything inside, always let go, cry, scream, whatever, it's much healthier. When somebody wants to argue with you, have in mind that it's because that person knows that you're #1.

Firstly, i know that you're angry but crying never solves anything.Especially when you're crying because of a boy. Take a deep breath and relax. You should leave the both of them alone. They are both a COMPLETE waste of time. They don't know what they want and you're better off by yourself than waiting for a guy that is a jerk. If the mention of your name makes him angry or say things like "**** Off!" than he is definitely not worth a second thought. Whenever somebody asks you about him tell them that you don't wanna talk about him.

    I do that too...

I think that you not able to say or do everything we want to to that person even if you give a nastier comeback than what was thrown to you... You would rather cry than hurt that person more than you know you can...

Crying is a normal reaction to many emotional states when those emotions are really intense. Even elation (happiness) can cause tears to develop. ~:)>

Clearly its frustration. People can be cruel and usually I cry when it they came unexpected.

Source(s): I stopped crying when i know who the ass*h*o*les are to deal with them directly. I also treated myself to activities that make me happy so i won't be depressed enough to cry.
