  • why do people hide their faces from cameras?

I mean, do you notice your friends hide their faces whenever someone whips out a camera? So I'm asking WHY do they do that? Is it some self-esteem issue?

  • Why do I cry when I'm angry?

Whenever someone insults or hits me, I get angry. I give a nastier comeback but I suddenly start to tear. Why do I do that? Why do I cry a bit? I'm angry and pissed, not sad.

  • I don't know what happened to me?

when I was younger, I did quite a lot of good things. I won many competitions. I did extremely well in maths.

And suddenly, that stopped. I stopped winning competitions and i stopped doing well in math(I did study). I feel like I've lost the confidence in myself and become more of a shadow of who I was. Did I use up my confidence? Why can't I be the same person I was back then? What happened?

  • Would you give it all up? Do you think I should give it all up?

I've spent 5 years studying art techniques at a well-known art academy. I'm in a special art programme at school where I learn art history and art techniques(for 2 years now). In total, I've had 7 years studying art and that's almost half my life. I can pretty much say I'm fairly good at art, since I do well in my art history exams and have my artworks displayed at the school gallery.

But this year, I discovered drama. I loved being onstage and rehearsals. This suddenly made me want to join my school's special drama programme and quit the art programme. But I'm hesitant. I love art and drama and its not easy to have both. I don't want to end up regretting givng up art for drama if I suddenly realise drama isn't for me. I'm fairly good at drama too but not as good as I am at art (yet, at least). I get main roles in skits now and then. No major roles in plays, though.

I just need some advice before I make a decision. My parents would rather I stick to the art programme because they think I only have a 0.7% chance of being an actress(because of my race)

    :(

  • What is the aim of the Al-Qaeda?

What do they want to do? The reason behind the terrorist attacks? Why do they want people dead? Are they trying to prove a point? What point? What is the purpose of the things they do? At the some time, don't insult their religion in your answer.

  • What is the big secret to believing in God?

I am a Catholic but I'm losing faith. Most of my friends aren't Catholic and they're incredibly wonderful people. But for my friends who are Catholic, they do at least one of the below:

1.think being a Catholic gives them the right to judge who goes to heaven or hell

    2.are proud to be a Catholic(I don't know why)

3.don't really care about their faith much. They just go to church and their job is done.

Whenever I ask how to believe, people always say to just believe but that kind of answer is not good enough. Do people believe just because mom told them to? Believe because its been drilled into their heads for their whole lives? Why do you believe in God? Or if you don't, why not?

  • I keep judging people by body language!?

I have a habit of analysing people's facial expressions, vocal tones, body language and reactions. Sometimes I grab the person's hand and check if its clammy and tell the person that he's nervous. At the end of each day, I feel pissed because I noticed that someone had a certain expression on her face whenever she looks at me. This habit is destroying my happiness but at the same time I want to keep it because it gives me insight on people's feelings. What do you advise?

  • Why would she do that?

My friend recently told me that I was always clinging to her and another friend who agreed that I was clingy(actually I hadn't spoken to this other friend for the past 2 days).I already knew that they didn't like my company because they made it so obvious(they didn't have to say it because whatever they did made it so clear).I was angry at this friend because she herself was clingy. Everyone in the school knew that she was not well-liked and she always clung to whoever was willing to befriend her even if they treated her like dirt(it has happened before).I told her that and she couldn't deny it.Then I said that she had just admitted that she and my other friend had backstabbed me.She tried denying it but it just didn't convince me. Just call her X to make this easier. I only "cling" to X because most of the time, nobody wants to sit or talk to her. I don't know why. In my class,a way to start a conversation is to ask whether you liked X, followed by a list of why you despise X.

  • Whose wrong? Whose right?

My best friend just made a new friend. But this new friend completely hates me. Just yesterday, she confronted me about my best friend's notebook(it only cost about $2.50 and had nothing inside) which I put on a table and told me that I had to get it back by 1 o'clock or she will tell the teacher while my best friend stood behind her looking embarassed at her friend's behaviour. I just laughed at her because the most the teacher can do is to ask my best friend to go to the lost and found counter. The day before that happened, she accused me of stealing a G2 pen from another friend of mine(who did not have this particular kind of pen) Actually it was my own pen. I don't even know where she comes up with this stuff. Once she spread a rumor about a teacher leaving the school because she heard some person mention it to someone. I don't really mind what kind of friends my best friend makes but this kid really gets on my nerves. I do say bad things to her too but only because she provoked me

  • What are you?

People are more than just mental hospital patients, CEOs or road sweepers or whatever. People can be born-on-23th-July people, clock-lovers, peanutbutter sandwich eaters or sleep-needers. So what are you? Precisely.

  • Serious question: Am I boring?

I suppose I am. That's why no one listens to me. Have you fallen asleep? Whenever I talk, the subject is changed or I am silenced or no one listens. You're sleeping, aren't you? Sigh...
