In iTunes is there an easy way to mark tunes as played?
My iTunes has managed to forget my recent listening. I've got a playlist with hundreds of songs in it and I want to increase all their playcounts by 1. Apart from playing them all again, is there an easy way to do this?

There is no way to do this quickly (and I've tried everything). What I've done in the past is to start playing a song and then click on the right hand side of the time remaining bar in the middle of the iTunes screen, which ends the song and increases the played count by 1.

OK why would you want to do that. That offers no advantages that I can think of.
