Ive been very pleased with my John Deere LT130. We bought it at Lowes 2 years ago.
It has a 48" cut, and a big enough motor (briggs and stratton)
I mow about a 2 acre area.

A lot depends upon your budget. A bigger machine will get the job done faster, but the cost will be higher. I would probably suggest that you get a mower with a minimum of a 48" deck - and even at that, you'll spend several hours mowing 2 acres.
