My sony video camera doesnt record?
My sony video Hi8 does not get the cassette its and no its not locked but when you put the cassettes in it says: locked check the tab....so I change it to locked and unlocked on the cassette but nothing and is there a nother tab thing on the cam because I checked in menu and nothing @ I tried a couple of other cassettes but it says the same thing...Do you know how to fix this??? what could be wrong with it ? is it the cassettes or the vid???

Have you checked the see if the copy protect tab on these tapes are not set to read only? Past that, the sensor in the tape loader may be malfunctioning.
