new cd player doesnt match wiring for my car?

new to installing car cd players but i bought a cd player and the kit made for my car. but the wiring doesnt match up. there are extra wires. so basically im lost and confused about why they dont match up. is there something else i needed to buy?

i have a pontiac grand am. this is the cd player i bought "JVC KDR200 Car CD 200W Remote Detachable Face MP3 & WMA Compatible"

    Make sure the harness is for your car,and you didn't accidentally get sent the wrong one.If it's the right harness,then look for matches to the other wires.If still nothing,get help from an expert.

    What year is your car? Just go to crutchfield.com and put in your car info, then you can search for a wiring harness that will connect your cd player to your specific car without cutting wires.

    i yea go to an expert it is made long to explain......it would probable cost like 30$ maybe a little more
