if you look at other parts of your life you will find that you hold illusion of the truth in almost all aspects of life. These illusions are based on the fact that we are unable or unwilling to come to terms with this fact of our existence. To not approach "the void" is human and we therefor hold strong arguments against the existence of such a reality. Atheism does not contend with the fact that this void exists or that we as humans are prone to retreat from this subject (i.e. god,Easter bunny, international Jewish conspiracy.etc...) but that we can factor into our reality more effective methods then that of a "god" solution.

(I am assuming by easter bunny you are saying illogical beliefs as a class of thought)

No. If, for example, you believe that the Easter Bunny created the world in 6 days, or you believe that he is the son of God, then you have just created a new religion.

If you never got an egg off the Easter Bunny, then you are obviously a sinner, and will spend eternity in a bath of boiling chocolate.

Easter is not about bunny. It is about the resurrection of Jesus. There are much about the resurrection. Some atheists believe that Jesus got a twin brother and some said that it was the other (not Jesus) on the cross.

Anyway, in Matthew Gospel chapter 11, Jesus laid down the evaluation on the Christ.

The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

Obviously, there is nothing about Easter bunny.

Easter is a Christian tradition that was adopted by much of the Western world and Capitalised upon. Believing in the Easter Bunny simply means that you support capitalist theory, he has no religious affiliation at all. If you celebrate Easter, however, you may be hedging the Agnostic territory...

Believing in the Easter Bunny most likely means you're under the age of 10, but otherwise, unless you believe that the Easter Bunny is the supreme deity, you're still atheistic.

if you worship the easter bunny then that's a different story but just believing in it doesn't make you an Agnostic

Well if you start calling yourself an agnostic, you might as well say you believe in the Easter bunny.

Cause you can't "prove" that don't exist either.

You believe in the Easter Bunny? You do know the Easter Bunny is not real like the Tooth Fairy or Santa Claus don't you? You are an Atheist if you don't beleive in God but the Easter Bunny IS NOT REAL and was made up by companies to sell chocolate bunnies at Easter.

The FSM isn't an argument designed to "refute" theism. that's designed to refute smart layout and, particularly, the declare via some identity'ers that the belief of technology must be broadened to comprise "supernatural" motives. The FSM does this via positing an option clarification it extremely is obviously absurd and yet completely meets the factors positioned forward via identity'ers. This it does admirably. each and all the features positioned forward in favour of smart layout are in the FSM sort, the FSM sort is irrefutable, and in case you settle for it as a medical thought that's a miles better medical concept than smart layout (it not in trouble-free terms explains the origins of existence yet gravity and worldwide warming too). The link decrease than is to the textual content cloth of Bobby Henderson's unique letter to the Kansas college Board that began the entire element off.
