Rare Simon and Garfunkel album...?
Recently a Simon and Garfunkel album sold for (I believe) $30,000.00 Can anyone tell me about this album?
This premium sale was on yahoo front page within the last month and I can't find it anywhere... Thanks for your help.
It's always possible that I misunderstood and, since I'm the only one who is aware of this "information" that's probably the case. Thanks for your input.

In a Rolling Stone interview, Paul Simon said something about needing at least $30,000 to make an album now, but that they were so slow and meticulous in crafting their albums that they spent that much way back when. Might that have been what you heard instead?

i hadnt heard that, but if i had to venture a guess as to what the album is, i would say one of their late 50s recordings done under the name "tom and jerry".
