To me it looks great. I am planning on using it as a desktop so 3 hours of battery life doesn't bother me. I am planning on trashing Vista and upgrading it to Windows 7 when it comes out.

I am planning on playing games on it, but not too high-end games. A couple of games that I plan on playing on it are:

-SimCity Deluxe Edition [this currently works on my current computer which isn't that good, it just runs a bit slow so I assume this laptop will make it run great]

-Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East [this does NOT work on my current computer] It requires a "128 MB AGP GeForce4 Ti4200 / RADEON 8500 or higher video card" which I think this laptop has, but I am not sure. Also, will this run in Windows 7? Some people say it does, some say some features (ex: cheat console) do not work.

So what do you guys think of this laptop? I'm planning on buying it from Staples or directly from Acer and I hope it is eligible for the free/low cost Windows 7 upgrade.

Update:

Price: $599.99

For £380, this workstation is incredibly good. The AMD Turion RM-72 is as good (or extra useful than) as Intel twin Cores. 3 gb ram is sweet ATI Radeon(tm) HD 3200 pictures 256MB committed equipment reminiscence is plenty extra useful than Intel GMA 4500MHD (approximately 2x extra useful) i believe this workstation is a lot. =)
