  • Triangles: Calculating Orthocentre, Circumcentre, Centroid? I need help ASAP?

I need to CALCULATE the Orthocentre, Circumcentre, Centroid of a triangle with the points at A(0,24) B (-15,0) and C (24,0).

I've been trying this for a long time and I still don't understand it. I tried looking elsewhere for help but everywhere I've tried I just get more confused. I'd appreciate it if someone could help me solve this as soon as possible, preferably within the next 45-60 minutes. Thanks.

PS: As far as I know, the slopes are mAB: 8/5 mBC: 0/39 mAC: -24/24 but I don't know where to go from there.

  • Successful People???

For a school project we're suppose to choose a successful person and find an article about them. I was thinking about choosing Bill Gates, an actor or a musician, but I was wondering what else you guys could think of. If you could find a good article and give me the link, that may help too!

    Thanks.

  • Does this laptop have a wireless card?

If it does, can you recommend a good (but cheap) wireless router that supports what I listed here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AkBrX...

  • What is the difference between DVD+RW and DVD-RW?

What is the difference between DVD+RW and DVD-RW? I don't need to know the history and stuff like that, I just need to know the pros and cons between the two.

What would be better for creating hard drive backups and copying files to DVDs? What about CDs, is there different types of disks for those too? If yes, what's the difference there - they would be used for the same uses as listed above and audio CDs?

    Weight: 2.7kg

To me it looks great. I am planning on using it as a desktop so 3 hours of battery life doesn't bother me. I am planning on trashing Vista and upgrading it to Windows 7 when it comes out.

I am planning on playing games on it, but not too high-end games. A couple of games that I plan on playing on it are:

-SimCity Deluxe Edition [this currently works on my current computer which isn't that good, it just runs a bit slow so I assume this laptop will make it run great]

-Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East [this does NOT work on my current computer] It requires a "128 MB AGP GeForce4 Ti4200 / RADEON 8500 or higher video card" which I think this laptop has, but I am not sure. Also, will this run in Windows 7? Some people say it does, some say some features (ex: cheat console) do not work.

So what do you guys think of this laptop? I'm planning on buying it from Staples or directly from Acer and I hope it is eligible for the free/low cost Windows 7 upgrade.
