UK H.M. the Q will ask for a pay rise.....?

Yes, absolutely shocking, all this profligate spending of our money. I mean, I ask you, up 3pence on the year to a massive 69pence per person - by my reckoning that an enormous 18-million pence more, blimey.

As you say, our royalty come cheap and I personally have no problem with having a constitutional monarchy. In particular, HRH Prince Charles has raised millions for good causes and his sister HRH Princess Anne, The Princess Royal, continues her massive workload doing charity work about which very little is said, but we all know she does. Yup, sooner have HMQE2 than any president, any day.

If we are lucky enough to have a visit from HM to our town, the entire town turns out; it's a great day for everyone and we're all happy. Don't think I'm gonna turn out to see prez someone or other, whom I may not have voted for anyway.

What the House of Windsor do best, is give UK continuity - and from that respect we are the same now as we always have been - half bonkers but generally good folk.

The Queen brings in tourists and an mazing amoiunt of money to the UK from them. She deserves a pay rise. It's a packet of crisps from every family once a year.

Yes what does she even do? Nothing for me anyway. I wouldn't mind 6p of everyone for no reason!
