Intolerance. That's pretty much why. As to where it comes from, you should probably ask someone who is a witch, not the Christians who think just about everything that doesn't agree with them is the work of the devil.

witch is nothing but a negative energy.this universe is made of both positive nd negative energies.effects of positive are slow and time taking but are sure and productive and constructive.on the otherhand the negative forces like black magic,witch and many others are destructive nd yeild very quick results,which in the end will destroy the practitioner.hence people who are after quick results go after them and fall a prey like a moth getting trapped into fire.
