Deactivating the Caps Lock key?
Is there any way to deactivat the caps lock key? i keep hitting it by accedent and i dont realize i am typing in all caps till i am done then i have to erase everything and start over...
can you deactivate it?
i am on windows vista
i am disabled and only use one hand... unless you guys know of the proper way to type with one hand then please dont suggest typing lessons... i just asked a simple yes or no question

I do not think it is the caps lock that is causing the problem but not sure what the answer is. Why not simply not use caps lock, instead hold the key below and the letter you want to be in caps. This will prove if it is the caps lock that is causing the problem. Good luck!

Well you could pop it off and use shift as a caps lock or you could just learn to type without looking at your keyboard.

I don't think there's any way to deactivate a key, just learn to avoid it or look at what your typing.

i downloaded a program that allowed mt to diable or turn on or off cap and number lock. when i downloaded widows 10 it erased it cant find it again!

so you don't look at the screen while you're typing and look at your hands? Learn to look at the screen and not the keyboard while you're typing and maybe you can correct your mistake before you realize what you have done.

go to the control panel and select device manager, from here select keyboard and go to properties and select reconfigure driver, and then go to the third page and look for file xCPLOCK-1203-WSD233-FSISO
and then deactivate it by double clicking on it
