My ipod will not play songs in the order from the playlist on my computer?

Even when I sync the ipod, it will still not play the songs in order that my computer's playlist has it.

Update:

@ corvetteguy1000: My ipod is NOT on shuffle.

Update 2:

OK, it seems my ipod is playing the songs by album, not by song title (which I want it to do in this case).

    Make sure the ipod is not on shuffle.

    Bottom left corner of itunes there is a button that has arrows crossing each other. click that
