Why do people feel MJ was anything but a great entertainer who was mentally ill?

Why do blacks idolize MJ when he renounced his black heritage with his deeds while not having the courage to tell the truth to his public?

He tried so hard to be white -well it is so sad that a doctor would perform the work that made him an object of pity His three children are white. How obvious could it all be? And for what purpose?

Before you ignorantly speak about how "mentally ill" he was, inform yourself. He had a skin disorder called Vitiligo, which caused the depigmentation of his skin in patches. He had to endure this illness by evening out his skin with make up. He never renounced his black heritage, in fact he said he was very proud of being black, and that pride never left him (Oprah Interview 1993). And yes, he did have the courage to stand up and tell the public the truth about his disorder, even though he was critiziced beyond belief, by speculating people. His decisions are NONE of anyone's business, and he shouldn't be judged upon them. He was an amazing singer/ dancer/ entertainer and charitable person with such generosity and heart, that he was often taken advantage of. Recognize him for his incredible talent, not for his look or decisions he took. Stop judging him, and let the man Rest In Peace. There will NEVER be anyone who can come close to replacing him. Unfortunately, we have lost the best man in the music industry.

    RIP MJ (1958-2009)

MJ haters are mostly those who were brainwashed by the media, with its constant portrayal of MJ as a freako. He is not a paedophile at all. He loves children because he himself is a child at heart.

I wish you could listen to this, if you had not:

Poor Michael, he didn't have a proper childhood. I urge all MJ haters to please leave him alone.

MJ is the BEST ever! Nobody can ever replace him. There can never be a second Michael Jackson. His musical legacy would live on for centuries to come. He's a pop legend and would always be. He was one of the greatest singers of our generation. He was the one who brought love and joy into our lives. I don't care if he is black or white. His music is colourless and universal, even the illiterate country bumpkin in the remotest village in the world know who he is. That's how popular he is.

MJ was a kind-hearted soul who doesn't deserve to die young. It's a pity that in death, few people remember him for his humanitarian efforts (he contributed to 36 charities in his lifetime). What's more, he broke 13 Guinness World Records and won 19 grammys in his career. He was no ordinary man, he's a superhero.

    R.I.P. Michael

No body knows for sure whether he had surgeries. It could have been skin disorder. Those how love him white or black..love him for his art, his talent.

His so called skin disease has a cure, other than bleaching his skin out to pale white. He chose to look like that. He was a freak, and a child molester. I can't understand why the MJ lovers can't get that into their heads.

    Why do blacks? Racist much?

He didn't try to be white, his skin turned white because of a skin disease that he had called vitiligo.
