MOSCOW (SR) – Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has warned the Obama administration against adopting further socialism, saying Russian history clearly proves it is a recipe for failure.

“Any fourth grade history student knows socialism has failed in every country, at every time in history,” said Putin. “President Obama and his fellow Democrats are either idiots or deliberately trying to destroy their own economy.”

Economists say Putin’s comments serve to illustrate how worldwide markets have made even economic adversaries dependent on each other’s financial stability.

An Obama spokesman dismissed Putin’s claim, saying, “We’re going to do socialism better.”

So is Obama a Socialist or not?

It appears the goal here could very well be to create an economic catastrophe -----we already do know the democrats are hell-bent on a power-grab frenzy----and yes socialism forced down out throats is the real goal----which of course could become a dictator fascist state as our rights are spiraling down the drain. Putn knows history better than the average American voter apparently.

Haha-I love the arrogance of the Obama admin. Telling a former KGB member that you understand socialism and how to make it work better than he can is just so tragically typical. It would be sort of like me telling a NASA scientist that I can make poorly-calulated shuttles to the moon get closer to target than he could.

Obama needs to cut back on social welfare spending. We are spending billions on issues that do not need to be resolved by a government pill. For example, why did millions go to condoms and sex education? Millions went to Planned Parenthood when they could of received funding elsewhere

EDIT: North Korea is officially called the DPRK, or Democratic People's Republic of Korea - are they democratic?  No.  They named themselves that.  The USSR was communist, based off of Lenin's interpretation of Marx and Engels' Communist Manifesto.  Big difference, sorry.
