Who was more over rated Elvis or Michael Jackson?

They are both talented individuals, but i would agree that they are both overrated. They both were known for the way the danced; Elvis's hip/pelvis movement, and Jackson's moon walk, etc. They both had some good songs, but Im not really a big fan of either artist so I am unbiased in my decision, I am going to say Elvis is more overrated, mostly because Jackson chose my hero Eddie Van Halen to play on Beat It, and another legend in slash to play on Black And White.

Both were obviously great live performers, but lets consider how their music would stand up without seeing a live act, and just listening to the music alone. I say Jackson's music is a bit better.

Elvis was not overrated. He was a great performer and could play guitar quite well. So, I'm voting for ........ Michael Jackson

Elvis was way overrated ! Michael was captivating! MJ is undeniably the greatest performer of all time!

Michael Jackson hands down. To me all he was was a creep! Elvis atleast stayed himself over the years. But over all, all they are just another person on this Earth. Each and every day people die, soldiers die fighting for our country and they dont get any of the respect they deserve.

Elvis.....he had mediocre talent and some charisma. I never understood his appeal.
