Ok my friend an Xbox 360 im not sure if it is still within warranty but what i wanted to know is even if it isnt in warranty will microsoft fix this issue? what can we do to fix it?

    If you want to know if it's still under warranty, call 1800 4 MY XBOX and ask.

    You can fix it yourself at home just using tools you probably already have.

    There are a lot of guides out there, there's a link to the one I used below.

    If you're reasonably good at following video instructions, then you'll be able to get back to gaming in just over an hour or so.

    if its less than 3 yrs old and you bought it new than yes they will fix it, If you call them and pressure them to get it back to you quickly they may just send you a diff unit when they get urs
