Why does lacrosse not have its own section?

OK, only joshing you. Truthfully, probably because it's not yet considered by other than those involved in it, to be a "mainstream" sport. Like you said, though, it is gaining in popularity. I've actually been able to find an occasional Lacrosse match on one of the sports channels.

In almost a year, this is the first Lacrosse question I've seen here. Of course, I haven't been looking, either.

You might get into Y/A info sections and suggest it.

Apperently its not popular enough and isnt really that mainstream like baseball or football and it might also be because there might not be many lax teams in your area

Thats what I was thinking! I have played for four years on the west coast, and its on TV now. But they have stupid sports on the list.
