Dog constipated and pooping sticks?
Hi my dog had an incident the other night that made his tummy feel bad, so apparently he ate tons of sticks, leaves and grass. That is now all he is pooping out and he's constipated. Vet suggested to give him pumpkin...did not take him in, just called. Do you think I should take him in? Is the pooping sticks cause for concern?

I would say that this shouldn't be a Huge concern. But if you see any blood i would bring him in, he could tear something in his stomach. There isn't much to do but let is pass through his system. Make sure that the pumpkin has no sugar added, that isn't good for the dog.

Uh...yeah...that would be a concern. You need to get your dog to the vet. The sticks could tear a hole right through your dog's instestines. That could kill your dog!
