What is so pretty about pretty things?

All the pretty puffy clouds,

I like the ones that have big, streaming tails on them,

I want to jump up and hang

from the tails but I'm afraid I am too heavy

and I will end up flushing

the toilet

and the clouds will empty

and we will all be covered in

sh!t because there is no rain

in them

the rain comes from a blue-eyed sky

that cries

foul

when we deceive

our own visions

and allow our Earthly existence

to become the drain

that sucks

our will.

Good one Buk. I like to watch those big puffy clouds and try to make things out of them. LIke a man with a big nose or a dog. Right now i would like to grab one of those tails and let rain fall down.

    Ugliness in beauty.

I love that so much better than finding beauty in ugliness.

And why try so hard to reach the clouds if you're only going to cover yourself and everyone around you in muck?

And the last 4 lines - I think that was the hammer.

They're not very pretty when thought of like that,

so, I will think about them as pretty puffy clouds with streaming tails and watch them move along.

    I won't deceive

my own vision, or rhave I

Well I certainly can relate to wanting to reach the clouds but getting sucked into the toilet of those around me and my own lethargy.

It is interesting to note that it rains on all of us, good or bad, when it rains eh?

    I enjoyed this thanks.

    That was pretty

    um, interesting...

I especially like the part about the flushing.

When I was in college, I had a friend who lived in

    Flushing, Queens, NYC

...um... it was pretty there, too

    Profoundness tempered with the whimsical.

I don't know how you do this

    and do it so well.

Your are on a roll this morning with terrific writes...

A Thunder cloud, if you will!
