Any Coffee Baristas out there!????? Please answer?
What's the main difference in Cappuccino/Latte/Machiato/Mocha etc....
For example; are they different types of coffee drinks because they are prepared differently or do they have different espresso beans...???
The only thing I know is Cappuccino's have like half foam, and Mocha's have chocolate...
Thanks!

cappuccino- half foam half milk. latte-small amount of foam, mostly milk. macchiato is italian for "mark the foam" (with espresso, so it's on top). mocha is a chocolate latte with whipped cream. these are all just variations of a latte, all using the same espresso, which can be adjusted in the grinding and tamping to control the strength.

cappuccinos are half milk and half foam with espresso
lattes are mostly milk with a dallop of foam, and espresso
macchiatos have milk, and foam, but the shots of espresso go on top of the foam to 'mark' it
mochas are mocha (chocolate) espresso, milk, and whipped cream.
All of the drinks use espresso beans.
