How many of you are celebrating the jobs report?

Seriously, do you guys ever get tired of celebrating bad news? Yes. The jobs report SUCKED. Worse than we thought. Employment will be last to recover but it is still worse than expected.

Are you HAPPY about this? You all seem to be jumping with glee over it. Do you actually think about this at all? Do you consider who it impacts or are you just so excited to say I told you so about something that you are peeing in your pants?

Update:

Wow Melissa. You're smarter than all of those economists who predicted around 363,000? Why are you wasting time on Y/A when you should be in your corner office on Wall Street?

Would you mind sharing some future predictions with me since I can't seem to trust those silly old people who do it for a living?

I still have my job. But what ticks me off is Obama takes credit for that by trying to say he SAVED my job. He's a liar.

If 100 million jobs still stand by the end of the depression, Obama will claim he created or saved 100 million jobs.

BTW... most of those silly old people laughed when Peter Schiff predicted the housing market collapse, and the eventual recession (will be depression). I wouldn't trust them so much. Many predicted we'd be out of this mess by the fall of this year. Not likely!

I enjoyed reading your question with that smug picture of Obie with the caption "Is Obama a socialist?" on the right side of my screen.

I'm not excited or surprised at all...my husband has been laid off since March of this year.
