Why Colombia is not in the categories for travel on this page?

yes they should! i read somewhere that the tourist numbers doubled in the last year, i thought it went from 1,5 to 3 milion people a year visiting the beautiful Colombia! they SHOULD indeed put it here in yahoo.

I think it's because so many foriegners were, for so many years, afraid of Colombia. It's only recently that Americans and Europeans have started to feel safe visiting Colombia and started to see for themselves how beautiful the country really is.

I have wondered the same thing. There are quite a few CA and SA countries that aren't on the list, but if you think about it, your questions and answers get a lot more coverage under Latin America than they would in a specific category. Also if you count them, the whole Latin America category only gets twenty or thirty questions a day compared to hundreds for some other categories. The country specific categories get three to five a day, or sometimes none.
