There used to be a Powder you could buy, and put down at night, and next morning all you saw was dead ants. We were inundated with the horrible little things but the powder worked. It was a long time ago so surely there must be a better powder out there as they will have improved it surely in this day and age. At least it is easy to sweep up, when you come downstairs in the morning. Good Luck and hope you find it.

sprinkle some baby powder on your grass. or u can put a 5 pound bag of sugar in the yard, keep it from getting wet and they will stay out. you can also get a shovel dig up some from one colony and place it in the other. do the same with all colonies. they will kill each other off. gas will kill them. corn meal will make them blow up.

next time take this to home and garden.
