Weird symptom - leg weakness?

When I got out of bed this morning I suddenly lost all strength in my left leg and collapsed to the floor. I couldn't support any weight.

Now all day I've been feeling sluggish, and I cant seem to move very fast (just walking is really tiring).

Any ideas? I am young (22) so I dont think its anything to serious, but I don't have insurance so I don't want to go to a doctor.

Has this ever happened to anyone else before?

Thanks!

Update:

I was feeling fine yesterday, a little stressed but nothing else noteworthy. My only prior medical problems is that I have some minor OCD related issues - but I dont take any medications on a regular basis.

Oh and the weather has been hot (95-100) - hope that helps

When I was 21 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and at 22 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

So your age means NOTHING when it comes to health problems.

It all depends to on the weather, what else bothers you and also what were you doing yesterday.

EDIT: How have you been feeling after that day?? Anything else have changed on you??

It is a shame that you do not have insurance but a lot of people are losing their health insurance now a days which sucks!!

Before I was DX'ed with MS I felt much weaker in the heat. Don't worry I won't say you have a life threatening disease lol BUT if you are still sluggish I would stay inside with the AC on to seewhat happens. If you think the heat effects you then you should intake more vitamin D and stay inside. If you advoid too much sun you lose D but if you replenish your D then you won't have to worry. Running low on that does cause problems with teeth and bones.
