* I, Robot (futuristic thriller, an amazing production and good if you like Will Smith)

* The Island (futuristic thriller, Ewan McGregor)

He's Just Not That into You and Marley and Me. I loved both those movies. I also recommend Walk the Line even though it's not a comedy.

Don't laugh, but try Bollywood movies, yes Hindi films. They're lighthearted (sometimes) and they're lots of fun. Especially if you like musicals. a few of my fav's
