You may be right. In fact, scientists have been debating this whole thing for years.

But observations that have been made in the last few decades don't support a universe that has always existed. Cosmic microwave background radiation, studies of the motion of distant galaxies, and all kinds of observations seem to support the Big Bang theory more and more.

But a new theory (M-theory or "membrane" theory) suggests that our universe is just one in a multiverse. The Big Bang was just what created our little universe while the multiverse we are in has always existed.

I am glad to hear that some young people do think about things - keep it up.

There are lots of sources to read more about it. Try this first:

It needs a little more cow bell. We already pretty much know the universe expanded to create space, and there are theories to explain how it also could have started from nothing, as impossible as that seems. There are also theories that the universe has always existed, such as the oscilating universe one. I think it's possible it could have been expanding forever, since "size" is relative. If its size was half what it is now every 10 billion years or so in the past, it could have existed forever without ever being zero size.

Well this is one of those questions that no one will really know the answer. Like what came first the chicken or the egg. Depending on the version of the big bang theory is dependent on the begining or not. One theory says that the big bang created the universe and it is ever expanding and will continue to expand for infinite time. But another theory states that the big bang created the universe to grow until a set point then collapse upon itself until another big bang will be created... hope that helped.

'Theory' refers to an idea which is supported by evidence - what you have is a hypothesis. And since the current evidence suggests a universe with a beginning (cosmic microwave background, Hubble expansion) that means all the evidence is against your hypothesis. Sorry. Our universe had a beginning about 13.7 billion years ago. However, that's not to say there's nothing out there besides our universe. There's a good chance there IS something else out there, and maybe that's always been there. But you'll have to differentiate between that 'something' and our universe.

Possibly. No one at present really knows for sure. But observations predict that Big Bang occured . But there's one called Big Bounce, whch concludes universe doesn't have a beginning or end and also agrees with the Big Bang theory. But there's no evidence for that yet.Check it out:

The top scientists in the world don't know for sure and you expect to find out in Yahoo Answers. And also, your not the first. Many people before you have put up the same idea.

    Your theory has no beginning.

    Think about what that means.
