Modern culture and society in America only perceives racism when someone who is white makes any type of "negative" statement about any person of color. So no matter what a minority says they will almost never be considered racist by the mainstream media or the public population.

Read a genuine definition of "racism". In the legal sense, it is about the USES OF POWER which come from the dominant side.
The deep history of racism is ALL right wing...the idiotic fantasy of "liberal" racism is a bold-faced lie. I was in the civil rights movement myself, and I saw precious few Republicans or those who described themselves as "conservatives" working in the field, or even lending us verbal or moral support. Indeed, when Barry Goldwater began to acknowledge that blacks had a right to be "damned impatient", in 1963, it was his own party's right wing that jumped all over him.
More important, the neo-Nazi ultra-right--which really IS deeply racist--is her primary source of opposition, and that alone should tell you something.
