Democrats how do we stop or at least reduce China & India from emitting tons of CO2 & other pollutants?

Both have potential nuclear problems in North Korea and Pakistan so we need to tread lightly. If we cannot force China and India to reduce CO2 when we reduce CO2, then we simply cannot compete and we will lose most of our remaining manufacturing jobs. If that happens, the Democrat party is finished. No UAW, AFL, CIO-No Democrat party.

Update:

Ok, so the democrats are willing to lose manufacturing jobs. wonderful.

Both China and India have told Obama that a reduction in Co2 emissions from their country's is a non negligible. Basically You B/S your people if you can and we will still sell to WalMart!

Get them to sign the Kyoto treaty or whatever the next iteration of that treaty will be.

We can probably bribe them by agreeing to look the other way while they sell weapons to Iran and al Queda and North Korea.

We aren't in charge of other countries. We are hardly in a position to dictate to others when we've made no move to improve our own polluting ways.

The Right are forever predicting doom and gloom when they are out of power. Give it a rest.

I'm sure Obama is consulting with Hugo Chavez at this very instant to get direction on how to handle this situation.

Greener than existing technology. We have it but it would disrupt too many corporations and their shareholders to implement it but that is changing.

  • Uhh you cant stop them. Keep dreaming. Ok, put a high tariff on their products and you will destroy our economy

China's in the process of adding wind power. Looks like they are stepping up. So, now it's our turn.

Beyond that, do you always use three year old logic? But mommy--they're polluting so I can too!
