A woman said that he was about to rape her but she escaped when he went to the bathroom. sounds fishy to me. If someone was going to rape someone, they wouldn't go to the bathroom they would expect an escape. Plus she was a prostitute. And Etta James said the injuries he had were too much for a woman to dish out.
Not talking about the gun shot wound. It was reported that he and the woman also were involved in a physical altercation which led to further injuries.

Yes the girl was a call girl on the make and stole his cash and trousers etc. He came out yelling at the Motel owner who then shot him.
He should NEVER have put himself in that situation in the first place

i just read he was shot
i really think the shot would be the same even if a woman shot him.
it's not like a man would shoot harder.
