giants should trade for?
so yes the giants need a bat, but Ishikawa has been swinging good lately and we have a huge void to fill at 2nd base so which 2nd basemen do u think we can trade for?
yea we could improve wit outfield, specially if schierholtz starts to slump. Sadowski been pretty good, i think he's gonna be really good. that means we should see if anyone wants Sanchez

I think that it would be hard for the Giants to trade for a reliable 2nd baseman, but MLBTR says that you guys might be interested in Adam LaRoche (Pirates) and/or Nick Johnson (Nationals) as two first basemen.

I've heard rumors about getting Freddy Sanchez of the Pirates...he'd be nice # 2 hitter in the lineup.
I just read in the paper today that the Braves have put a slumping Kelly Johnson on the DL for 15 days. Maybe the Giants could him relatively cheap and the time off and a change of scenery would revive him.
If Sadowksi is the real deal, the Giants could be very tough in a playoff series!

Matt Holliday... they need to bring someone back like Bonds... not saying that Holliday is as good as Bonds was. but they need a force in the lineup like him.. matt fits the job
