What happened to that Tony Romo choke question that was here a few minutes ago?
Did you delete it, Bubba in Pekin?
Guess you should wait until AFTER the game is completed, huh?
11 AnswersFootball (American)7 years agoBuy or Sell....Aaron Rodgers IS out for the year?
Will he play again this season, or not?
9 AnswersFootball (American)7 years agoWhat head coach has the best job in the country?
Can be a college or pro head coach. Which one has the best job in the country? What coach would be crazy to leave his current position to take another head coach job?
My Pick: David Shaw, Stanford
He has a top 10 football program at one of the most prestigious universites in the world. He doesn't have to put up with dumb jocks.... Stanford has one of the highest graduation rates in the country. Great weather. Under no pressure to win National Championships. Completely, newly rebuilt stadium.
I could see no reason for Shaw to want any other head coaching job in the country, college or pro.
6 AnswersFootball (American)7 years agoWhat is the worst thing you dislike about NFL football?
Try to limit it to just 3 things.
19 AnswersFootball (American)7 years ago49er game- does it look like Ahmad Brooks lines up offside on every play?
It sure looks like his head over the line on every play.
3 AnswersFootball (American)7 years agoTop 10 list: what 10 football games, or venues, should a football fan try to attend in person?
The list should be the top 10 rival games and, or, venus. Can be college or pro events.
2 AnswersFootball (American)7 years agoHas the NFL game become basketball on grass?
By that, I mean teams just trading TDs and the last team that scores, wins?
All the rules favor the offense and hamper the defenses.
A prime example was the Viking/Ravens game last Sunday.
I might add, this is why I don't like to watch basketball. All it is is 2 teams running up and down the court trading scores the whole game. Sadly, I think the same thing is happening in the NFL these days.
3 AnswersFootball (American)7 years agoDo they allow too many people on the sidelines during football games?
Is it really necessary for all those people to be on the field?
5 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoDoes Ed Hochuli talk too much?
One of the worse things the NFL ever did was put mics on the refs.
Give me the days when the refs were seen and not heard.
3 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWashington and the NY Giants on Sunday Night Football?
WHY???
What happened to flex scheduling of Sunday games? How did this dog game stay for Sunday night?
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (what else is on tonight?)
7 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoIs it possilbe for any other team from the AFC to go to the Super Bowl this year other than NE or Denver?
The AFC is pretty weak this year, other than the Broncos and the Patriots. Can ANY other team make it to the Super Bowl from the AFC?
BQ- Put a percentage rating on the AFC Super Bowl representative being either Denver or New England (I say it's 99.9%)
10 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoIf the NFL is so concerned about player safety, why do they have Thursday night games every week of the season?
They ask two teams every week to play a game on Thursday, giving the players 3 days to recover from playing on the previous Sunday.
I can see the Thanksgiving Day games, being an NFL tradition each year, but Thursday games EVERY week of the season? Isn't this giving lip service to the player's safety? Do we really need games on Thursday?
5 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWhen will the NFL start playing regular season games in China?
They just announced that there will be another 3 games in London next year.
How is playing REGULAR season games in foreign countries making the NFL a better product?
Yes, I'm pissed. I don't see English soccer teams coming over here to play regular league games!
8 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWhen is a TD in the NFL not a TD?
When "Instant delay" says it's not!
I think the NFL, in a lame attempt to get EVERY play 1,000% correct by reviewing EVERY scoring play, is destroying the spontaneity and flow of the game.
A prime example was what happened in the last 2 minutes of the Steelers/Ravens game tonight.
The NFL was a MUCH better game to watch before the intrusion of Video reviews of plays on the field!
BQ- Do you agree with the decision of not allowing the TD by Bell because his helmet came off a split second before he he made it to the end zone? Good rule or bad rule?
1 AnswerFootball (American)8 years agoHas football tilted too much in favor of the offense?
ALL of the rule changes for the last 20 years, or so, have benefited the offense.
I know the NFL wants plenty of scoring (to attract new fans and make the people playing fantasy football happy), but has the advantage gone over to the offense too much?
I'm dating myself, but the game was MUCH more interesting to watch back in the 1960s and 70s when the defenses were allowed to compete with the offenses.
Has today's football become basketball on grass?
3 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWhat happened to the Colts' offense?
Two weeks ago they score 8 points against the ST. LOUIS RAMS? Today they score 3 points until garbage time against the ARIZONA CARDINALS?
Earlier this year they beat the 49ers, the Seahawks and the Broncos!
What's going on here???
7 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWhat would you do to make the Field Goal attempt in the NFL more exciting?
These guys hardly ever miss anymore and in an indoor stadium, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. 50+ yard FGs are hardly challenging anymore.
How would you bring more of a suspense element in Field Goal attempts? Or, are you happy the way it is, having FGs pretty much automatic?
I'm all for narrowing the goal posts to make the kicks more difficult and also have the kickers have to kick at angles like they used to have to do before the hash marks were brought in to line up with the uprights years ago.
8 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoHow come these guys aren't in the Football Hall of Fame?
