A = 18.9exp(0.0055t)
t=year-2000;when the year is 2000 itself t=0;
so A=18.9exp(0) = 18.9millions
the pop... is required to reach 19.6==>19.6 = 18.9exp(0.0055t)
196/189=exp(0.0055t)
ln(196/189) = 0.0055t
==>t=6.6123 years so in the year 2006 and somewhere in the month no 6*12/10 = 7.2 after July ie in August the pop.. reaches that mark.
similarly repeat it for the q 104 also: the answeres are
