It`s a buddleia globosa, or the orange ball tree. The globes are scented

It's a buddleia globosa (or orange ball tree/orange butterfly bush). Can grow up to 10 feet or so high and wide. Flowers late spring, early summer and needs to be pruned right after flowering as it flowers from last years wood. I think the flowers on this would look lovely alongside a traditional buddleia's purple flowers. Great for moths and butterflies.

It does sound like abelia. upload your photograph to a cyber web hosting internet site like flickr or photobucket (the two unfastened), then contain a link to the photograph on your question. photos are quite actually worht one thousand words.
