Tributes to Michael Jackson, honoring a legend or supporting a child pedophile?

I'm torn on this. Yes he is a brilliant performer but he also is a kid toucher. Do you see the tributes as remembering a legend or propagating a pedophile?

Update:

I guess you guys are right. Only innocent people pay 20mil to settle out of court.

I would go with the former, because there is no hardcore proof that he was a child molester. I was born in the mid-80s, and I listened to his songs when I was a child before switching to death metal and alternative rock in my teens. I shall forever remember Michael Jackson for his moonwalk and the charity work that he did, and the fact that he was a really talented musician who wrote and composed almost all of his songs. He entertained us for four decades and has taken us through the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s right up to the 2000s.

This is a video of him performing in his days with Jackson 5. He has the voice of a sweet little angel when he was just a child.

I shall love him till the end of the world. I know I'm one of those who will miss him. Michael Jackson is the BEST ever! Nobody can ever replace him. There can never be a second Michael Jackson. His musical legacy would live on for centuries to come. He's a pop legend and would always be. He was one of the greatest singers of our generation. He was the one who brought love and joy into our lives. I don't care if he is black or white. His music is colourless and universal, even the illiterate country bumpkin in the remotest village in the world know who he is. That's how popular he is. I can never get enough of his face, his beautiful voice and his slick dance moves.

MJ was a kind-hearted soul who doesn't deserve to die young. It's a pity that in death, few people remember him for his humanitarian efforts (he contributed to 36 charities in his lifetime). What's more, he broke 13 Guinness World Records and won 19 grammys in his career. He was no ordinary man, he's a superhero. He should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his service to humanity. MJ haters are mostly those who were brainwashed by the media, with its constant portrayal of MJ as a freako. He is not a paedophile at all. He loves children because he himself is a child at heart.

I wish you could listen to this, if you had not:

Poor Michael, he didn't have a proper childhood. I urge all MJ haters to please leave him alone.

    R.I.P. Michael

  • Of course its honoring a legend not only that but a humanitarian person he's done so much for other people in need through charities and his music you people only seem to focus on the negatives these allegations were never proven so it should be a thing in the past it was just a made up lie to scam a caring person who would do anything to help out kids. I guess his kindness was also his weak spot and they found an easy opening to hit the jackpot

Guess you didn't hear the latest news about the 20 mil your flapping off at the mouth about. heres the latest cut and pasted for you.

Jordan Chandler, 13 in 1993, claimed that Michael Jackson and himself engaged in sexual intimacy

like kissing, oral sex and masturbation. His father, Evan Chandler, sued Michael Jackson. Jordan Chandler told police and a psychiatrist that he shared sexual acts with Jackson.

Michael Jackson made a civil suit settlement with Chandler for $22 million. Jordan Chandler refused to testify in the criminal proceedings against Jackson. The Chandler family used the money to buy properties

After Jackson’s death on June 25 2009, Jordan Chandler has been quoted by some reports as confessing he lied about Jackson. Jordan Chandler said he lied about Michael Jackson molesting him because his father told him to. The Chandler family’s motive was money.

Michael Jackson’s ordeal lasted from 1993 - May 2005. The state’s criminal trial and verdict were concluded in May 2005. Michael Jackson was declared innocent of the charges.

So am I. Absolutely torn. Because I was a fan. Maybe we'll work it out after the Memorial Service. It's still very sensitive. I'd like to be able to figure out a way to remember him as a great performer, which he undoubtedly was. But it's worrying to think that he may have escaped prosecution all those years with sick kids around just because of who he was.

I'm a grown up, not a naive young fan, I know enough that 'idols' are really only plastic, we are all in reality imperfect and make errors. But I think we all knew that he was very seriously disturbed for a long time anyway, with all that he did to his appearance.

It's really diabolical that this is the way that it ended up.

He paid money to get over it becoz his company told him to or this case would last for about 7 years that could possiblely ruined his career.

And If I was him I also would like to pay coz I'm rich I didn't want to be investigated any more as all they wanted is money.

    I'd say the former.

There's no evidence to support that he molested children but there's so much evidence against it, which most people seem to ignore.

    Honoring.

But some of the tributes have famous tabloid journalists so I don't get it. Some of them really ticked me off with that ***** from CNN and Gutierrez.

He was a legend, not a kid toucher.

    The end.
