People loved to slam Bush about the price of gas. According to them the President controlled the price of gas. Where's the outrage now?

If healthcare is the greatest threat to our country (according to Obama) then how come I supposedly get to keep my insurance? It doesn't make sense.

I'm torn on this. Yes he is a brilliant performer but he also is a kid toucher. Do you see the tributes as remembering a legend or propagating a pedophile?

So when gas was $4 a gallon it was Bush and his greedy oil company henchmen fault. It's back up to $3 a gallon again so who's fault is it now? Is it Obama's fault or have the liberals (now that one of them is in the white house) finally realized that the President doesn't control gas prices.

Does this surprise anyone. I bet one of the most corrupt corporations in America can't wait to cut all of their employees benefits and shift the cost to the few Americans that actually pay their taxes. This in addition to the cap and trade tax will ruin this country.

Has anyone else noticed this? Every law that he has passed or bill his henchmen in Congress has proposed has not only increased the size of government but gave it more power. Each time out there is a new regulation committee or the government will oversee something new. All at the expense of our tax dollars.

I work 2 jobs. One full time M-F 8-5 and one part time job in the evenings and on Saturdays. My wife is giving birth in November and I plan to take FMLA form my full time job. Can I collect FMLA and still work at my part time job or will I need to take time off from both to collect it?

Bush was slammed for having a 455 Billion National Debt. Everyone claims he has ruined the country with that 455 billion debt. He clearly over spent, that is not debatable.

Why is no one batting an eye now that Obama has raised that to over 1 TRILLION? How is 455 Billion bad yet over 1 trillion is good? How can we gain fiscal responsibility by spending more money?

Currently the Government is in charge of two types of national run health care. Medicare which is going bankrupt and will be insolvent in 8 years and the VA. The VA is horribly mismanaged and there is a huge discrepency between what the government says it will give the VA and what the VA actually gets.

If the Government can't even run these two small nationalized health care systems what makes anyone thing it will work on a truly national level?

A co worker of mine is 67 years old and collect Social Security in addition to his salary from work. If he is laid off is he elgible for unemployment? Can he earn both unemployment and his Social Security or will it be a one or the other type deal?

Is it just me or does it seem that the WWF/WWE was much better in the 1980's and early 1990's than it is today?
