Epilator - are they any good and are they painful?

I have been thinking about getting an epilator as I am fed up of shaving my legs all the time but don't want to waste the money if a, they don't work and b, if they are too painful ( i am a really wuzz when it comes to pain)

Can anyone recommend one if I did get one. I have been looking at the new Braun wet and dry version but it is £66 has anyone tried this and is it any good? Or another brand if Braun isn't any good

Thank you

I used an epilator for about a month I think it is a little painful, you may develop some ingrown hairs as well but you could get rid of them with gentle and regular exfoliation. Everybody is different but after you use it you start to get used to the pain. I stopped using it but I might start it again because it lasts longer than shaving and it is better than waxing because the wax can stick to your skin and when you try to remove the wax it could cause irritation and soreness. I think you should give it a try because I am as well because I am fed up with shaving. The Braun wet and dry version should be really good because you won't feel much pain because your legs are in the water and the hair should come away much easier because your pores become more open due to the warm water. I thinks it's definitely worth a try, I was looking at that one as well and I was thinking of buying it.

    Hope this helps ;D
