When did yahoo answers begin to censor their questions?

I asked a question about the Supreme Court throwing out lawsuits challenging Obama's citizenship and it was deleted. The appeals process concluded that yes, yahoo answers is censoring questions that they don't approve of despite an official violation of the terms of service. Anybody else have this problem?

The site has always been censored, in a manner of speaking. They have rules on the site and you agreed to obey them. If you don't, folks report you and things get removed.

I'm thinking from your phrasing that you may have run afoul of the 'ranting' part of the rules. Asking a question simply to act as a podium for soapboxing / ranting about your own opinion on something is considered a violation on here. But without the full details of your entire question, it is impossible to give you a specific answer as to what you did that was considered a violation.

Believe it or not it's the people on here aka trolls. They pick and choose many many answers and if they don't like the color red and it's mentioned your reported. They have other losers who call your question in and 2 or 3 and it's gone.I reported a question about doing sex with youngsters and i reported it and 15 hours it still was there. The questions that get reported are 3'4 ok and 1/4 foul..About 2 ys ago it started and before that yahoo was a fun place and us contacts would write questions and kid around' now it's called CHATTING..gggrrrr
