When I try to save some (and only some) of my files as either tiff or jpeg it will only save it as "file" which is window's default for "I don't know what this is." Either way it's unusuable. Any tips?

So why do people care when the pope makes a speech in Germany about upholding "traditional values"? I had no choice but to use a mac to edit a document before I submitted it for publication. Now, when I try to use my drive on my home computer, it says it has to be formatted - which I'm assuming means I'll lose all my work. Are there any fixes for this?

I was parked in a parking lot and the car next to me hit my door. They had a small child in the back seat who was a little overzealous to get out and put a nasty dent in the car. I came out and was inspecting when they arrived to get in their car. The guy denied it (obviously) even though there was a little paint on the bottom of the door.
