Is Rebecca Black a parody?

First some background - I'm not a 12 year old girl so I didn't know who Rebecca Black was. I saw her "video" and thought it was a parody of something else. Then I found out it was a serious attempt at music.

Please tell me I'm wrong - that Rebecca Black is the world's best satirist and is secretly laughing at all the pre-teens who think she's actually making music. Please restore my faith in humanity!

Update:

I know she's only 13 (and I'm not sure how to "gleave" her alone) - I honestly wonder if she was making fun of the abysmal state of pop music or if she was seriously trying to be an "artist"

The "sesame street" approach to the days of the week makes me question if she's functionally retarded or brilliant at satire.

Update 2:

I guess the reason I 'just found out about it' is precisely because I'm not a 12 year old. That's not the kind of music I listen to. Same reason why I couldn't pick a Justin Beiber song out of a line up - as far as I know I've never heard a song of his.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but she's completely legit. She was making a real attempt to get famous...and she did, for the wrong reasons. Her song is so terrible that it's practically a parody of itself, but that's purely accidental. She's just another teen who thinks she can auto-tune her way into a music career.

Source(s): Also not a 12 year old, I just know my memes.

Nothin against the regulation for that, she's danger unfastened. in my view I stand by way of her ingredient for morality. by way of how, the starring ingredient, it substitute into only thrilling which you will grant this up! Edit; those youtube celebs understand the thank you to make ingredient extra comfortable and placed extra thrilling to it.
