What would Nas say about Soulja Boy's "music?"?
People went off on him for saying Hip Hop Is Dead but, really, can you still debate it? Have you even heard the radio lately? In between the same Lady GaGa remix being played all day, you can hear Soulja Boy Tell'em groan out "Turn My Swag On." Honestly, is there any hope that artists still have a chance to make real music?
I'm only asking because I want to see who's also angry at this trend that music, art, film, etc is just getting worse with no end in sight. I can't be the only one who believes this, can I?
Also, I too want this link if you got it!

Apparently Nas Likes him. He said so in a concert and months later Soulja boy dissed him.

Nas was talking about mainstream hip-hop in general, not specifically Soulja Boy. The only way that Soulja Boy will go away is if people stop caring about him. When he's no longer popular, he'll fall off. But when people keep bringing him up to talk about how bad he is, he'll just keep making more music. Nas is ignoring Soulja Boy, and if we want good hip-hop on the radio, we should do the same thing.

Nas is doing the right thing by paying him no mind. Even though he bigged up that whack sh*t in Make the World Go Round talkin about ringtone rappers.

LISTEN TO LUPE FIASCO IF UR HUNGRY FOR REAL HIP-HOP. i'm serious. he's one of the best rappers right now and he raps about real stuff, never about money or girls and s hit like that. but u gotta pay attention real close to his lyrics cuz he doesn't really tell you the message, he wants u to figure it out. he uses metaphor. and truthfully hip-hop is never dead. tv just puts crappy songs but if you search theres hundreds of amazing rappers who are underrated and no one knows about them. also you should check out Classified as well.
