E-mail sent to the wrong person! Please Help!!!?

I was trying to send an e-mail to someone, they made a typing error when they gave me their address. I was very careful to check that it was matching...but it was wrong. I sent it to the wrong person. Then I found out that the address was wrong, and I know that I can't get it back, so I sent an e-mail explaining that it was the wrong person. I also checked, and YES, the e-mail address IS taken. Someone owns it.

I haven't gotten a reply yet, but I'm worrying myself sick! I know they might not open it, and the subject of the next e-mail i sent said to delete them both, but I can't know if they will...what do you think will happen??

If you wanna know what was in the e-mail, it was what I've written so far of a story. I was sending it to a friend. I know the person probably won't care, but I'm really worrying what they'll think or do with it.

I know that's not the most important thing...I'm also worrying about the fact that they have my e-mail address now...

What do you think will happen? Do you think they'll be nice and delete it? What do you think are the chances that they're creepy and will keep e-mailing me?

Thanks everyone...i feel a little better. I guess I don't really think anything BAD will happen, I'm just uncomfortable.

And this isn't my main e-mail. It's just what I use when I sign up for stuff and stuff. And my name and zipcode aren't correct on that account, so I'm not extremely worried about that. =) Just uncomfortable.

    Hi don't know if this will help but I sent an email to the wrong person and they were kind enough to write back saying that I must have the wrong person.On the other hand when I get an email myself that doesn't make sense I mark it as spam and block the sender,I don't usually respond to the sender which may be what happened to you. The person you wrote to probably deleted it and has no more interest in it and can't be bothered to write back.The only thing that could happen is they have your email and you could also get spam which you can block..Also you could change your email to a different one so that the old one is no longer valid.Hope this is some help to you.

    well really some one probably owned that email but dont use it no more

    just re write another story but i dont think anything creepy should happen
