Jesus is the founder of Christianity not the Cc. Jesus directly taught Peter (Jesus' 3rd disciple, a fisherman) the truth that stands 4ever unchanged 2 prepare him 2 head the church on God's/Jesus' behalf (so Peter tho fallible knew the real truth). It started with Jewish ppl (Peter - sent 2 them not 2 gentiles - traveled mostly in Israel area, was crucified up side down near Rome about 63 AD - remains asleep until Jesus returns) while Jesus (the Rock is Jesus not Peter) was alive.

Peter imitated Jesus but wasnt Jesus nor replacing Jesus like the Cc claims the pope does (utterances on his throne claimed infallible - Peter never sat on a throne nor was he ever a Roman bishop while on earth). The 11 other Apostles (yes, Judas had 2 b replaced so the original 12 Pillars the church foundation was 2 b built on would remain intact in accordance with scripture) were killed off or died within the 1rst century - Christianity was illegal @ that time & the Bible shows corruption was already getting in2 some original churches.

Most original disciples were also killed off/died or forced in2 hiding by Romans/others. In effect, the original church was wiped out & isolated pockets of true believers were greatly weakened. This made it easier 4 those wanting 2 use the Christian label 4 other purposes 2 enter in & sow their corruption (easy b/c most ppl were illiterate @ that time - The Cc claims they didnt give out Bibles 4 over 1000 yrs b/c most ppl couldnt read so why didnt they teach ppl 2 read?).

Rest-assured neither Jesus nor the Apostles authorized Apostolic succession 2 the Cc [the final 12 werent 2 b replaced - God's fixed order of things Biblical] - the next so-called generation added more corrupt practices that became part of the core Cc beliefs & about 313 AD more Pagan practices got added with Constantine's help.

Its not possible 4 a church 2 know Jesus without knowing Jesus' actual Biblical instructions - absent in Cc teachings (the Cc didnt write any part of the NT [not a Cc text - NT was written in the 1rst century by Apostles {NT Gospels/letters preserved the truth 4 all ppl [purpose 4 being written] not the Cc - God allowed the Cc 2 produce the Bible despite their wrong teachings like He allowed Romans 2 fulfill prophecy without their knowledge [happening again today]}.

It means God & Jesus already fully knew what was 2 b written in the NT. The truth is complete within its pages (& the NT proves the OT is true & the OT reinforces the truth of the NT [the 2 witnesses]). Cc possession wasnt until the 4th century] which contradicts their claims & God's will, 1 in truth & Spirit not rituals.

Sadly, the Cc/others made the same mistake, they didnt follow Jesus' Biblical instructions when they set up the Cc. 2 main lies r (which cancels their other teachings - most of which rnt Biblical anyway [see below] - another false gospel among many - real revisionist church history):

1. The CC claims 2 b the 1rst church & since they r the longest existing church, they r the only "official" church. Jesus' Apostles never named their church "catholic (not in the Bible nor in line with God's message that never changes)" nor did they ever practice Cc religious rituals. There was nearly a 240 yr gap btwn Jesus' original Apostle's church & the start of the organized Cc - so the Cc was never a part of or the true 1rst Christian Church (neither a label, title, name, its history, # of members, amount of time it existed or claims made about them (like persecution) proves anything - its whats practiced (with respect 2 the real Biblical truth) that makes it either the whole truth or a lie. Calling a dog god doesnt make it God. U can call anything anything - i.e Neither Jesus or Biblical prophets were muslims no matter what Islam claims).

2. Peter was never a pope nor was he or his fellow Apostles ever a member of the Cc (it isnt in the Bible = no apostolic succession) the use of the word pope is a Cc invention - the Bible instructs us not 2 go beyond whats written (I Cor 4:6; Rev 22:18-19). Peter wasnt a bishop of the Cc (he was dead nearly 240 yrs b4 the Cc became a church. Peter wouldnt call himself a pope or b a member of the Cc b/c calling 1self "holy" Father & other Cc teachings (no priesthood/rituals after Jesus) r abominations. Even the devil knows Jesus is the Son of God so 1 would b wise not 2 trust any church "authority" ahead of whats written in the Bible. Calling urself a Christian or saying u believe in Jesus doesnt make it true (recital of words means nothing).

No matter how much well-meaning ppl (religious or not) read the Bible they cant find Jesus Christ without going directly 2 Jesus thru His Biblical instructions (Jn 5:39; 10:1,7; 3:3,5). God outsmarted man - the Bible is the only 1 that cant b properly understood without Jesus (Jn 14:6; II Cor 3:14, Is 29:11-12 - If Jewish ppl cant pierce the veil over the OT without Jesus then all gentiles cant). Its why theres many interpretations & many thinking its fairy tales (Jesus came with the sword of division).

The Bible severely warns us not 2 trust humans, not even ourselves, clergy/churches/scholars (Jer 10:2-5,23; Is 2:22; Job 12:11; Prov 14:12; Acts 17:11). So carefully think over what I say. Dont just believe/dismiss what I write. It might save u from making the same mistake many made, getting caught up in religious beliefs having nothing 2 do with knowing God (poisoned tree & its fruit). I.e. Many claim God is love & love ur neighbor but they dont know what God's actual definition/application of love is.

Mass (not in the Bible) is full of non-biblical rituals, Statues (God isnt in2 dead things - non-living things can't help/save u - praying 2 them is an abomination), the Rosary & beads, mother Mary (virgin 2 Jesus' birth) as interceder (Jesus is the only way 2 God - not His Apostles/disciples - Jn 14:6; 5:39; 10:1,7; Acts 4:12; IS 1 - Mary was a sinner & had children after Jesus - Mt 12:46-50), candles, incense, the cross (its more a symbol of the curse rather than Jesus & 4 the same reasoning against statues), making the sign of the cross, stations of the cross, pope's/other leader's garb they wear, confirmation, the Catholic creed/other Cc documents, raising dead/ppl 2 the status of "saint" (only God & Jesus have authority 2 do this), priesthood, monks, nuns, purgatory, catechism, devotionals, sacraments, holy eucharist, penance, traditional/repetitive type prayers/chants & many other things they do rnt in Bible (false teachings cancel out any truth u hv).

Its b/c religion is about man & what he likes, not what Jesus mandated us 2 do 2 know Him. The result is few will end up saved thru most of them (no1 can save themselves by their own initiative nor will good deeds save u - theres no good in any man - Rom 1:23). 1 must b very careful not 2 get sucked in or going 2 various denominations (especially if u dont know much about whats actually written in the Bible) as u can only add 2 any confusion u hv.

Just b/c religions made many fatal mistakes doesnt mean God doesnt know what He's doing. Many miss this: Jesus is the only 1 in history who said that no1 can find our real God except thru Jesus (Jn 14:6; 5:39; 10:1,7; Acts 4:11). This means "the" truth was complete & finished thru what Jesus did. So, any so-called new teaching/other religious beliefs r invalid & cant lead u 2 God. The truth is either the whole truth or its a lie. The truth is the absence of any lie. Either Jesus told the whole truth or He's a false prophet, among many, who should b disregarded. This would also mean that God must not exist either (He either knows what He's doing or He cant b God).

Evidence God knows all: Jesus couldnt hv done nor said what He did unless He fully knew the entire OT (the NT didnt exist @ the time of Jesus - the only way Jesus couldve known the whole OT is if God sent Him). The Apostles couldnt write the NT unless Jesus allowed them 2 know & remember what He did (Lk 24:25-27,45). Only God could cause it.

A church thats very serious about finding the Biblical truth, understands what being Born Anew is about, might be able 2 help u but no1 can save u except Jesus (Jn 3:1-14 - note: Nicodemus was very religious but Jesus flat out told him he had missed the 1rst most important step, that he must b Born Anew or no matter how religious or good he thought he is he couldn't go 2 Heaven (Jn 3:3,5; Jn 14:6; Acts 4:12). No1 can live without breaking God's Law = sin - separates us from God (why we need 2 b Born Anew the right way).

Peter was a fisherman. Jesus found him and said 'come be my follower' Peter wound up his business and six months later Jesus returned and said 'come be my follower'. And Peter went with Christ and along the way they found more people. You see all Israel was expecting the arrival of Messiah. Many had come before and had proven false. But Peter believed straight away. Peter witnessed everything done by Jesus and remained loyal to him until the night before Jesus would be killed. After having the Last Supper Jesus said: One of you will betray me. Of Course Peter was the first to say I'll never betray you! Sadly by the time day had dawned Peter had denied Jesus not once but three times. Wrapped in guilt Peter withdrew and isolated himself. Jesus was falsely accused of sedition and died like a criminal. After three days Jesus tomb was found empty so Mary ran to tell the others. On the way she met a 'gardener' upon closer inspection Mary realized it was Jesus. He had risen. For 40 days Jesus appeared to his followers including Peter. There Jesus asked three times if Peter loved him to which Peter answered yes. Jesus replied 'feed my sheep'. From that time onward Peter was filled with zeal. Peter served on Earth for another 40 or so years he died faithful. Today many believe that Peter is still faithfully serving in Heaven at the Gates. They hold on to the hope that one day St Peter will call their name to enter into Heaven.

He was a fisherman. Jesus called him, Peter followed Christ. Peter walked on water through faith in Christ. Peter sliced of the ear of a servant when Jesus was betrayed. Peter denied Christ 3 times. Jesus forgave and restored Peter. Peter became one of the main founders of the church. Peter was crucified for his faith in Christ but on a cross upside down because he did not feel himself worthy to suffer death the same way his Savior did.
